DEPARTMENT OF CHEMISTRY

Department of Chemistry was established in July 2006 to undertake teaching at the postgraduate level with a specialization in Msc(Organic/Medicinal chemistry), Where strong foundations are laid to facilitate scientific temper among the postgraduate students. It is one of the subjects which gives adequate knowledge of Chemistry and it’s applications involved in the Inorganic, organic, physical, medicinal, spectroscopy and natural products etc.

The Department has the best infrastructure facilities and makes use of all innovative methods of teaching. Department is having individual labs for every subject with high-standard equipment and chemicals

The Department of Chemistry is firmly built on highly professional faculty members comprising a perfect blend of academicians and researchers. Faculty is very strong with academic excellence in research and in teaching.

Every year department organizes extension and guest lectures by inviting eminent scientists and distinguished academicians from reputed institutions like NIT, Warangal and IICT, Hyderabad.

Department conducts personality development programs, spoken English classes, group discussions, classroom seminars, and computer awareness programs for the all-round development of students to meet the present day requirement.

Many students have qualified in NET and JRF examination. Every year many students are getting placements in MNC pharmacy companies like Reddy Labs, GVK labs etc.
