The Department of Commerce was started in the year 1991 by offering M.Com course with regular mode in P.G. Centre. Lal Bahadur Collage is famous for ‘capital of commerce education’ by virtue of eminent, committed intellectual teaching faculty members. The students of M.Com are enlightened with updated subject knowledge and information in the field of Commerce, economics marketing, human resources and computers etc. Towards responding for growing requirements in industry for information and Communication, M.Com. CA (Computer Application) was also started imparting education from the year 2013. The alumnae of M.Com belonging to L.B.Colllgeg, PG. Centre are settled down in various organizations as part of their employment. The Alumni members are regularly in touch with department and institution.
